Total snow accumulations up to 3 inches below 6500 feet, with over 12 inches possible above 6500 feet. * WHERE...Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains and Northwest Beaverhead County. * WHEN...From 6 AM Friday to 6 PM MDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible and tire chains may be required for some vehicles. Those in the backcountry should ensure they have appropriate knowledge and gear and may want to consider alternate plans. If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
