Southern Lincoln County in middle Tennessee... * Until 500 PM CDT. * At 202 PM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain in northern Huntsville. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported several roadways closed and water entering homes in Madison County due to flash flooding. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
