Conditions may still be gusty. - PREPARE: Listen for any instructions from local officials. - ACT: Ensure emergency readiness should the forecast change. - REALIZED IMPACTS: Being Assessed - Little to no additional wind impacts expected. Bay waters very rough. * WHERE...St. Andrews Bay Waterways, Coastal waters from Mexico Beach to Okaloosa Walton County Line FL out 20 NM, Coastal waters from Mexico Beach to Apalachicola FL out 20 NM, Waters from Mexico Beach to Okaloosa Walton County Line FL from 20 to 60 NM and Waters from Apalachicola to Mexico Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM. * WHEN...Tropical Storm force winds possible through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Very strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the vessel for severe conditions.

For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding. * WHERE...South Walton, Coastal Bay and Coastal Gulf Counties. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ Thursday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Friday night. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 2 PM EDT /1 PM CDT/ this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels will continue to remain elevated this morning. The highest water levels are expected between now through late morning. The next high tide is around 230 am CDT Wednesday. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed.
