Delaware River near Muscotah affecting Atchison County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Delaware River near Muscotah. * WHEN...From this morning to late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, The east approach to the County Road bridge over the Delaware River around 2.2 miles south of Muscotah is overtopped by flood waters. Flooding of low-lying pasture and cropland also occurs. At 34.0 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the 262nd Road bridge over the Delaware River. Widespread flooding of secondary roads and agricultural land occurs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 13.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 33.1 feet this afternoon.
