Flood Advisory issued September 11 at 6:55AM CDT until September 11 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Louisville KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Breckinridge County in central Kentucky... Bullitt County in central Kentucky... Northwestern Grayson County in central Kentucky... Central Hardin County in central Kentucky... * WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT /1100 AM EDT/. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 655 AM CDT /755 AM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Elizabethtown, Shepherdsville, Pioneer Village, Radcliff, Mount Washington, Hillview, Vine Grove, Lebanon Junction, Hebron Estates and West Point. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
