Breton Sound... Chandeleur Sound... Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... Mississippi Sound... * Until 315 PM CDT. * At 210 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 17 nm west of Chandeleur Sound to 7 nm southwest of Breton Sound, moving northeast at 35 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Cat Island, Mississippi Sound, Ship Island, Chandeleur Sound, Gulf Park Estates, Breton Sound, Ocean Springs, and Biloxi. Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water. Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes. Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or the National Weather Service.

Flood Watch issued June 16 at 1:07PM CDT until June 19 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS New Orleans LA * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Assumption, Central Jefferson, Central Plaquemines, Central St. Charles, Central Tangipahoa, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Eastern Ascension, Eastern Orleans, Iberville, Lower St. Charles, Lower Tangipahoa, Northern Livingston, Northern St. Tammany, Northern Tangipahoa, Pointe Coupee, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Livingston, Southwestern St. Tammany, St. Helena, St. James, St. John The Baptist, Upper Jefferson, Upper Lafourche, Upper Plaquemines, Upper St. Bernard, Upper St. Charles, Upper Terrebonne, Washington, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana, Western Ascension and Western Orleans and southern Mississippi, including the following areas, Amite, Northern Hancock, Northern Harrison, Northern Jackson, Pearl River, Pike, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison, Southern Jackson, Walthall and Wilkinson. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall are expected through Tuesday night.
