Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20 NM... * At 955 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These strong thunderstorms were located along a line from over Gulfport to 10 NM northeast of Pascagoula, moving south at 20 knots. Locations impacted include... Ship Island, Mississippi Sound, Gulf Park Estates, Horn Island, Ocean Springs, Cat Island, Biloxi, Pascagoula, Gulfport, Long Beach and Pass Christian. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.
