Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce. * WHEN...From Friday evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, low lying areas around Miami become cut off from easy access. Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be threatened. At 20.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow evening and continue rising to a crest of 19.6 feet early Sunday morning. The river is then expected to remain above 18 feet through Monday. In northeast Oklahoma, Adair, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Northeast Osage, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Southeast Osage, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington OK and Western Osage. In southeast Oklahoma, Central Le Flore, Haskell, Latimer, McIntosh, Northern Le Flore, Pittsburg and Southern Le Flore. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Additional widespread thunderstorm development is probable overnight Wednesday night and through the daytime Thursday.
