Flood Watch issued July 16 at 1:54PM CDT until July 17 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Crockett, Irion, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Sterling, Sutton and Tom Green. * WHEN...Through Friday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected over portions of West Central Texas today through early Friday evening. High moisture values will fuel highly efficient rain-producing storms, with model guidance indicating near-stationary clusters capable of producing 2 to 4 inches of rain per hour. This could lead to additional rainfall totals tonight and Friday of 2 to 5 inches over the Watch area, with isolated totals even higher. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Flood Advisory issued July 17 at 4:25AM CDT until July 17 at 7:30AM CDT by NWS San Angelo TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Coleman County in west central Texas... Eastern McCulloch County in west central Texas... West Central San Saba County in west central Texas... * WHEN...Until 730 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 424 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.25 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Brady, Rochelle, Placid, Voca, Brady Lake, Camp San Saba, Mercury, Lohn, Hall, Us-190 Near The Mcculloch-San Saba County Line and Fife. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... South Blackburn between Adkins and 13th, White Street at Live Oak Creek, FM 1121 crossing Onion Creek, South High between 14th and 15th Streets, Hallum Draw, 17th Street between Pine and College, FM 1851 crossing Tiger Creek, FM 1028 crossing Corn Creek, County Road 423 crossing Little Brady Creek and crossings along County Road 410. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
