Rainfall rates could exceed 2 inches per hour at times, with localized totals of 3 to 5 inches possible in a few spots. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rain. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Sutherland around 1215 PM EDT. Matoaca around 1220 PM EDT. Colonial Heights, Chester, and Ettrick around 1225 PM EDT. Bellwood around 1235 PM EDT. Hopewell around 1240 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Wayside, Richmond Heights, Birchett Estate, Addison, Ammon, Jordan Point Country Club, Montrose, Petersburg National Battlefield, Sandston, and Glendale.
