Adams County in northeastern Indiana... Huntington County in northeastern Indiana... Wells County in northeastern Indiana... Southwestern Van Wert County in west central Ohio... * Until 215 PM EDT Thursday. * At 744 AM EDT, Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue across the warned area. Doppler radar estimates between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen overnight. Another round of heavy rainfall is possible mid to late morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Huntington, Bluffton, Decatur, Berne, Ossian, Geneva, Andrews, Markle, Monroe, Lancaster, Preble, Nottingham, Zanesville, Willshire, Uniondale, Wren, Poneto, Vera Cruz, Murray and North Oaks. Several reports of flooded roads and water rescues have been received this morning. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - One to as much as five inches of rain has fallen across the watch area.
