Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued May 29 at 2:58PM MDT until May 29 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 350 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN NEBRASKA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 8 COUNTIES IN PANHANDLE NEBRASKA BANNER BOX BUTTE CHEYENNE DAWES KIMBALL MORRILL SCOTTS BLUFF SIOUX IN WYOMING THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL WYOMING NIOBRARA IN SOUTHEAST WYOMING GOSHEN PLATTE THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AGATE, ALLIANCE, ANGORA, BAYARD, BORDEAUX, BRIDGEPORT, BROWNSON, CHADRON, CHADRON ST PARK, GERING, GUERNSEY, HARRISBURG, HARRISON, HEMINGFORD, KIMBALL, LUSK, REDBIRD, REDINGTON, SCOTTSBLUFF, SIDNEY, TORRINGTON, AND WHEATLAND.

Special Weather Statement issued May 29 at 3:24PM MDT by NWS Cheyenne WY Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms have developed across a large portion of southeast Wyoming and the western Nebraska Panhandle. These thunderstorms may produce sudden wind gusts in excess of 50 MPH. In addition, a threat for hail could accompany some of the strongest storms. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening. If threatening weather approaches your area, seek shelter indoors inside a sturdy structure until the storms pass.
