Flood Watch issued September 12 at 7:41PM PDT until September 13 at 8:00PM PDT by NWS Spokane WA * WHAT...Debris and ash flows, rock slides, and minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible, especially near burn scars. * WHERE...A portion of North Central Washington, including the following areas and counties, Central Chelan County, Okanogan Highlands, Okanogan Valley, Wenatchee Area, Western Chelan County and Western Okanogan County. * WHEN...From 1 AM PDT Sunday through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in debris and ash flows over burn scars in steep terrain. Rock slides will be possible. Minor flooding in urban areas where there is poor drainage. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A slow moving storm system will bring persistent bands of rain through Central Washington. Moderate to heavy rain intensities are expected at times.
