Red Flag Warning issued June 16 at 2:13AM MDT until June 16 at 9:00PM MDT by NWS Riverton WY * IMPACTS: Low Humidities...Unseasonably Warm Temperatures...and Strong Gusty Winds could cause erratic fire behavior. * AFFECTED AREA: In Central WY...Fire Weather Zone 280. * COUNTIES AFFECTED: In Central WY...Natrona. * WIND: West-northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * HUMIDITY: As low as 12 percent. * TEMPERATURES: Highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
