This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Little Sioux River at Linn Grove. * WHEN...Until further notice. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 27.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 3:00 AM CDT Sunday was 27.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.9 feet this morning. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside.
