In west central Arkansas, Franklin and Sebastian. * WHEN...Until 545 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 146 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms in east central Oklahoma, moving eastward into west central Arkansas. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area in a short amount of time. This rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Fort Smith... Van Buren... Ozark... Charleston... Cedarville... Mountainburg... Natural Dam... Greenwood... Alma... Barling... Lavaca... Mulberry... Dyer... Hackett... Altus... Hartford... Huntington... Bonanza... Branch... Midland... - This includes the following highways... Interstate 49 between mile markers 22 and 40. Interstate 540 between mile markers 1 and 14.
