At 921 AM CDT, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located near Pembroke, moving east at 65 mph. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW! HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction is possible. This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Christian County. Flood Watch issued May 26 at 3:17AM CDT until May 27 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, west Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. * WHEN...Through early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall are expected to traverse the region through tonight. Flooding will be more likely and potentially more intense in areas that receive multiple rounds of heavy rainfall, and especially in areas that have received heavy rainfall in the last few days. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Flood Advisory issued May 26 at 9:16AM CDT until May 26 at 1:15PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following counties, Caldwell, Christian, Lyon, Todd and Trigg. * WHEN...Until 115 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 916 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Cadiz, Elkton, Fort Campbell, Wranglers Campground, Energy Lake Campground, Woodlands Nature Station, Cravens Bay Campground, Land Between The Lakes Area, Clarksville, Guthrie, Pembroke, Cobb, Canton, Rockcastle, Trenton, Lafayette, Herndon and Allegre. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
