Heat Advisory issued May 25 at 8:42PM CDT until May 26 at 10:00PM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX * WHAT...Heat index values up to 114. * WHERE...A portion of south Texas. * WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors. Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Car interiors will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
