Flood Warning issued June 12 at 11:22AM CDT until June 12 at 2:30PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Bell and Milam Counties. * WHEN...Until 230 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations will continue. Streams may continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Cameron, Nolanville, Salado, Little River-Academy, Holland, Buckholts, Stillhouse Hollow Lake, Belton Lake, Sparks, Union Grove, Yarrelton, Val Verde, Davilla, Prairie Dell, Sharp and San Gabriel. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
