Red Flag Warning issued June 17 at 7:14AM PDT until June 18 at 8:00AM PDT by NWS Hanford CA * AFFECTED AREA...The West Hills from Merced to Kern County and the Kern County Mountains from Frazier Park to Tehachapi. * WIND...The strongest winds are forecast tonight through Monday night, with sustained northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph and locally frequent gusts near 55 mph. * HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity values of 10 to 15 percentwith local areas as low as 5 percent through the period. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
