Flood Watch issued June 3 at 9:17PM CDT until June 4 at 4:00AM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, in south central Wisconsin, Columbia, Dane, Green, Iowa, Lafayette, Rock and Sauk. In southeast Wisconsin, Dodge, Jefferson, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha. * WHEN...Until 4 AM CDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms will continue into tonight. Given the persistent heavy rain potential along with saturated soils from recent rainfall, there is a concern for flash flooding into the nighttime hours. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Flood Advisory issued June 3 at 8:16PM CDT until June 3 at 10:15PM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Wisconsin, including the following counties, Milwaukee and Waukesha. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 816 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Milwaukee, Waukesha, West Allis, Wauwatosa, New Berlin, Brookfield, Greenfield, Menomonee Falls, Oak Creek, Muskego, South Milwaukee, Cudahy, Whitefish Bay, Greendale, Brown Deer, St. Francis, Hales Corners, Fox Point, Elm Grove and Bayside. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
