Flood Watch issued June 4 at 8:11PM CDT until June 5 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Duluth MN * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...In Minnesota, Pine County. In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Price, Sawyer and Washburn Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation, the northwestern county of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley and, Lena Lake counties. Recreation spots such as the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore and Madeline Island. * WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms this evening will be capable of widespread rainfall of 1 to 2 inches with localized amounts of 3 or more inches possible. Brief periods of heavy rain may cause localized flooding. - Flood safety information can be found at www.weather.gov/safety/flood.
