Air Quality Alert issued May 13 at 10:40AM CDT by NWS Milwaukee/Sullivan WI The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has issued an Air Quality Advisory for PM2.5 which will remain in effect until midnight tonight. This advisory affects people living in the following counties: Adams, Buffalo, Chippewa, Clark, Columbia, Crawford, Dane, Dunn, Eau Claire, Grant, Green Lake, Iowa, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Marquette, Menominee, Monroe, Outagamie, Pepin, Pierce, Portage, Richland, Saint Croix, Sauk, Shawano, Taylor, Trempealeau, Vernon, Waupaca, Waushara, Winnebago, Wood. Due to Canadian wildfire smoke, the air quality index is expected to reach the UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS level.
