This includes the Tribal Lands of the northwestern area of the Lac du Flambeau Band, the St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, East Lake areas. Recreation spots such as Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. * WHEN...From 1 PM CDT this afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall Sunday night into Monday morning over the watch area has led to water level increases in area creeks and streams and moist soils. More showers and thunderstorms will occur this afternoon and tonight and may lead to localized flooding. - Flood safety information can be found at www.weather.gov/safety/flood. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

In Wisconsin, Douglas County. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Fond du Lac Band and the Grand Portage Reservation. * WHEN...Until 11 AM CDT this morning. * IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous. If driving, slow down, use your low-beam headlights and fog lights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Beach Hazards Statement issued June 4 at 4:07AM CDT until June 4 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Duluth MN * WHAT...Dangerous swimming conditions are expected along the Lake Superior shoreline due to high wave action and strong rip currents. * WHERE...Minnesota Park Point and Wisconsin Point Beaches. * WHEN...From 9 AM CDT this morning through this evening. * IMPACTS...High wave action can make swimming difficult on days such as this. Incoming waves in rapid succession can tire even an experienced swimmer quickly. Rip currents can usher you away from land. To avoid being swept away, swim parallel to the shore to exit a rip current.. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
