White River at Edwardsport...and at Hazleton. .Minor river flooding continues tonight on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Riverton, with the crest between Terre Haute and Riverton...and on the White River at Edwardsport. Additional heavy rainfall expected late Sunday and Sunday night will lead to rising river stages early next week...with minor flooding also starting on the Wabash at Covington and Vincennes Monday night...and on the White River below Edwardsport on Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Vincennes. * WHEN...From late Monday night until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Agricultural lands and some oil fields flood. Several township roads about 1.25 miles south of St. Francesville and River Road between Billett Road and Lincoln Memorial Bridge in Lawrence County are flooded. Extensive flooding of Kimmell Park at Vincennes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM EDT Saturday /8:45 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 14.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Tuesday morning and continue rising to a crest of 18.1 feet Sunday, June 28. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
