HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Clarksdale, Senatobia, Batesville, Charleston, George Payne State Park, John W Kyle State Park, Tutwiler, Marks, Sardis, Lambert, Jonestown, Como, Crenshaw, Crowder, Webb, Sledge, Sumner, Pope, Belen, and Paynes. This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 228 and 265. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northwestern Mississippi.
