Flood Advisory issued June 4 at 7:23PM EDT until June 4 at 10:15PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of piedmont North Carolina, including the following counties, Mecklenburg and Union NC and upstate South Carolina, including the following county, York. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 712 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Rapid rises in stream levels across the Charlotte area, especially Irwin, Little Sugar, Sugar, Briar, and McMullen Creeks. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
