IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Wagoner... Jay... Chouteau... Locust Grove... Salina... Colcord... Kansas... Okay... Oaks... Rose... Leach... Peggs... Twin Oaks... Sportsmen Acres Community... Murphy... Lost City... Lake Eucha State Park... Mazie... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Flood Watch issued April 28 at 10:16AM CDT until April 29 at 1:00AM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Ottawa, Pushmataha and Sequoyah. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Shower and thunderstorm redevelopment this afternoon is expected across the watch area. Additional rainfall amounts combined with previous rainfall will maintain a flood threat through this evening.
