Flood Watch issued June 14 at 7:22PM CDT until June 15 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Fort Worth TX * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of north central, northeast, and south central Texas, including the following counties, in north central Texas, Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, Freestone, Hamilton, Lampasas, Limestone, McLennan and Mills. In northeast Texas, Anderson and Leon. In south central Texas, Milam and Robertson. * WHEN...Through Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Slow moving thunderstorms may result in widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches in a short period of time. Isolated totals in excess of 5 inches will be possible through Monday. - weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Falls County in central Texas... South Central McLennan County in central Texas... Milam County in central Texas... Western Robertson County in central Texas... * WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 934 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Localized Flash Flooding is possible in parts of this Advisory, with smaller Flash Flood Warnings issued within this Advisory. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Killeen, Temple, Harker Heights, Belton, Marlin, Rockdale, Cameron, Hearne, Fort Hood, Nolanville, Morgan's Point Resort, Salado, Little River-Academy, Lorena, Troy, Bruceville-Eddy, Rosebud and Moody. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
