HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Bridgeport, Stamford, Norwalk, Milford, Shelton, New Canaan, Fairfield, Greenwich, Stratford, Trumbull, Westport, Darien, Monroe, Wilton, Weston, Redding and Easton. Average rainfall amounts are forecast to range from 1.5 to 2.5 inches with locally higher amounts of 3 to 5 inches possible.
