Spink County in northeastern South Dakota... * Until 800 AM CDT. * At 709 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Redfield, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... Ashton around 715 AM CDT. Brentford around 725 AM CDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Hutterville Colony, Verdon, Ferney and Andover. Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding.
