These winds will combine with very hot and dry conditions resulting in an increase in fire danger across the Gila region in Southwest New Mexico. * WIND...Southwest 15-20 mph with gusts to 35 mph. * HUMIDITY...6 to 9 percent lowlands and 8 to 11 percent mountains. * EXPERIMENTAL RFTI...4 to 5 Near Critical to Critical * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly.
