Flood Watch issued June 24 at 3:04PM MDT until June 26 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Goodland KS Multiple days of heavy rainfall has led to saturated soil across much of the Tri-State area. Additional rainfall is expected tonight through Thursday morning and could lead to flash flooding. * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Colorado, including the following areas, Kit Carson and Yuma, Kansas, including the following areas, Cheyenne KS, Decatur, Gove, Graham, Greeley, Logan, Norton, Rawlins, Sheridan, Sherman, Thomas, Wallace and Wichita, and southwest Nebraska, including the following areas, Dundy, Hitchcock and Red Willow. * WHEN...Through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in additional flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Flood Advisory issued June 24 at 11:40PM MDT until June 25 at 1:45AM MDT by NWS Goodland KS * WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Colorado, including the following county, Yuma. * WHEN...Until 145 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1140 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Yuma. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
