Meanwhile, the center| lof Tropical Storm "GARDO" {HIGOS} was estimated based on all available data at 1,420 km East of Extreme Northern| Luzon (19.4°N, 135.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105 km/h. It is| moving Northwestward at 45 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Luzon and Visayas. The 12-hour rainfall forecast is Light to moderate rains and thunderstorms. Tropical Storm GARDO will remain far from the Philippine landmass throughout the forecast period. It is forecast to move north northwestward to northward until it exits PAR by tomorrow (26 June) morning or afternoon. Outside PAR, it is expected to turn generally northeastward towards southern Japan. GARDO is likely to remain as a Tropical Storm throughout the forecast period, although slight intensification into Severe Tropical Storm is not ruled out.
