Flood Watch issued July 21 at 11:20AM EDT until July 22 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible this afternoon and early evening. * WHERE...Portions of northern Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin and Kenton and Ohio, including the following counties, Clermont, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking and Ross. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms with heavy rainfall will be possible today. Localized rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches in a short period of time could lead to flash flooding. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Ripley County in southeastern Indiana... Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 530 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 231 PM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Cincinnati, Norwood, Forest Park, Sharonville, Blue Ash, Loveland, Springdale, Reading, Montgomery, Harrison, North College Hill, Madeira, Wyoming, Cheviot, Batesville and Mount Healthy. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
