Dense Smoke Advisory issued July 23 at 3:00AM EDT until July 23 at 10:00AM EDT by NWS Charleston SC * WHAT...Visibility 1 mile or less in dense smoke. * WHERE...Inland Berkeley County. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EDT this morning. * IMPACTS...The Horse Island Wildfire burning in the Francis Marion National Forest near Shulerville will likely produce widespread dense smoke tonight. The smoke may reduce visibility to 1 mile or less across portions of Berkeley County tonight. Watch for dense smoke on area roadways, especially on Highway 45 between Jamestown and the Charleston County line. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
