Flash Flood Warning issued September 17 at 10:01AM EDT until September 17 at 2:15PM EDT by NWS Northern Indiana At 1001 AM EDT, Radar indicates that between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen since last night. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area as heavier showers and thunderstorms move in from the west. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Huntington, Bluffton, Decatur, Berne, Ossian, Geneva, Andrews, Markle, Monroe, Lancaster, Preble, Nottingham, Zanesville, Willshire, Uniondale, Wren, Poneto, Vera Cruz, Murray and North Oaks. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - One to as much as five inches of rain has fallen across the watch area.
