Flood Advisory issued June 22 at 11:51AM CDT until June 23 at 11:45AM CDT by NWS Omaha/Valley NE * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall Friday night. * WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Nebraska, including the following counties, in east central Nebraska, Butler. In northeast Nebraska, Platte. * WHEN...Until 1145 AM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1150 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Columbus, Duncan, Monroe, Lake Oconee and Camp Pawnee. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
