Northern Rooks County in north central Kansas... Western Smith County in north central Kansas... Northwestern Osborne County in north central Kansas... Southern Phillips County in north central Kansas... * Until 715 PM CDT. * At 621 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of Speed, or 14 miles southwest of Phillipsburg, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Rooks, western Smith, northwestern Osborne and southern Phillips Counties. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central Kansas.
