Southern Smith County in north central Kansas... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 710 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated ongoing or earlier heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is likely already occurring or will yet occur in the advisory area, due to as much as 1.5 to 3 inches of rain that has already fallen or will yet fall prior to 830 PM CDT. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Oak Creek, Beaver Creek, Turner Creek, West Cedar Creek, East Oak Creek, Crooked Creek, Ash Creek, Bow Creek, Twelvemile Creek, Cedar Creek, Glen Rock Creek, Lawrence Creek, Medicine Creek, West Oak Creek, Spring Creek, Dry Creek, Deer Creek, East Cedar Creek and Lindley Creek. - Some locations that could experience flooding include...
