Special Weather Statement issued June 10 at 2:00AM CDT by NWS Norman OK At 157 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking showers and thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles north of Mooreland to 10 miles south of Harmon. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. In addition, showers moving across eastern Beaver County with a history of producing strong winds will move east toward Harper County. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Woodward, Alva, Laverne, Buffalo, Mooreland, Waynoka, Seiling, Vici, Gage, Fargo, Fort Supply, Freedom, Camargo, Sharon, Mutual, May, Rosston, Alabaster Caverns State Park, Selman, and Avard. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
