Beach Hazards Statement issued September 13 at 9:26AM EDT until September 14 at 4:00AM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH * WHAT...High risk of rip currents expected. * WHERE...Lucas and Ottawa Counties. * WHEN...From this evening through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake. Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
