Power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.

Coastal Flood Advisory issued September 26 at 2:00AM EDT until September 27 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Boston/Norton MA * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways (5.6 to 7.2 feet Mean Lower Low Water). * WHERE...Washington, Southern Bristol MA, Southern Plymouth MA, Southeast Providence RI, Eastern Kent RI, Bristol RI, and Newport RI Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Splashover and Minor coastal flooding is expected in the lowest lying areas along the south coast of Rhode Island and Massachusetts over multiple high tide cycles late today through this weekend. A few immediate coastal roads may briefly flood due to wave action. In addition...minor beach erosion is also possible. If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.
