Washington County in the Panhandle of Florida... * Until 400 PM EDT/300 PM CDT/. * At 256 PM EDT/156 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles north of Blountstown to 13 miles southeast of Chipley to near Vernon to 12 miles southwest of Bonifay to 9 miles southeast of De Funiak Springs to 9 miles northwest of Eglin Air Force Base, moving south at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Flood Watch issued June 19 at 1:30AM EDT until June 20 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, including the following areas, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry and Houston, Florida, including the following areas, Calhoun, Central Walton, Coastal Bay, Holmes, Inland Bay, Jackson, North Walton, South Walton and Washington, and Georgia, including the following areas, Baker, Calhoun, Clay, Decatur, Dougherty, Early, Lee, Miller, Mitchell, Quitman, Randolph, Seminole, Terrell, Turner and Worth. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Repeated rounds of training thunderstorms will continue across the watch area today. Through tonight, additional rain of 1 to 3 inches will be common, though pockets of rain exceeding 5 inches are likely. For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...Walton and Bay County Beaches. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 10 AM CDT Friday. For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Sunday night. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. Heed the advice of beach flags.
