Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Cassville, Pineville, Anderson, Noel, Goodman, Purdy, South West City, Exeter, Wheaton, Lanagan, Dodge, Butterfield, Pioneer, Cayuga, Rocky Comfort, Ridgley, Powell, Wayne, Mcdowell, Pleasant Ridge, Madry, Jenkins, Wheelerville, Tiff City and Big Sugar Creek State Park. This includes the following low water crossings... Buffalo Creek at Klondike Road, Butler Creek at Kings Highway, Shoal Creek at Farm Road 2110, Flat Creek at Highway C, Big Sugar Creek at Buzzard Glory Road, Little Sugar Creek at Skaggs Hollow Road and Flat Creek at Highway U. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood deaths occur in vehicles.
