In northeast Oklahoma, Adair, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, Northeast Osage, Nowata, Okmulgee, Ottawa, Pawnee, Rogers, Southeast Osage, Tulsa, Wagoner, Washington OK and Western Osage. * WHEN...Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening near or over far northwest Arkansas in the vicinity of a boundary. Slow-moving and/or training storms in a moist environment will have the potential to drop locally heavy rainfall totals, on the order of 3 to 7 inches. With soils fairly saturated, most of this rainfall will be runoff and lead to quick onset flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Bird Creek near Owasso-Mingo affecting Tulsa County. Illinois River near Tahlequah affecting Cherokee County. Illinois River at Chewey affecting Cherokee, Delaware and Adair Counties. Flint Creek near Kansas affecting Cherokee and Delaware Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Illinois River near Tahlequah. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, no flooding occurs but all recreational floating along the Illinois River ceases at and above 9.5 feet. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 8.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 10.2 feet early Monday morning. - Action stage is 9.0 feet. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
