Flood Advisory issued May 27 at 1:41PM AST until May 27 at 5:00PM AST by NWS San Juan PR * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Aguada, Aguadilla, Anasco, Arecibo, Camuy, Hatillo, Isabela, Lares, Moca, Quebradillas, Rincon and San Sebastian. * WHEN...Until 500 PM AST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 139 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, with the highest totals in Hatillo, San Sebastian, Isabela, and Anasco. This activity will spread west-northwestward into coastal municipalities during the next hour or so. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
