Flood Advisory issued June 8 at 11:20PM CDT until June 9 at 2:30AM CDT by NWS Chicago IL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Illinois, including the following counties, Kankakee and Will and northwest Indiana, including the following counties, Lake IN, Newton and Porter. * WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Roads and streets may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1119 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen over parts of the Advisory area in the past hour. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the Advisory area. This additional rain will result in areas of flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
