Very Heavy Rain Risk Area An active low-pressure cell over Cambodia is expected to move along the monsoon trough which lying across the lower Central and the East regions while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf is strengthening. Scattered heavy to isolated very heavy rain is forecast in the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity and the East regions while isolated heavy rains are possible in the North and the South region. The rather strong wind and waves in the upper Gulf are expected 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the upper Andaman Sea, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Gulf keep ashore lasting 27 September 2026.
