Heavy Rain Risk Area The active low-pressure cell over Cambodia is expected to move along the monsoon trough which lying across the lower Central and the East regions while the moderate southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf is strengthening. The high-pressure system covering the upper North and the upper Northeast is weakening. Heavy rain with very heavy rain in some places is possible in the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, the East and the South. The rather strong wind and waves in the upper Gulf are expected 2-3 meters high, about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
